5.6.1 Customer Email and Text Message
When you first click on the Email and Text Message tab you
will be presented with a table showing the status of the
current message within the system. By clicking on the
message in the table you will be able to edit the text or
change the status from active to inactive.
Within each of the message categories set up for your
installation. It is possible for you to change the wording
of the message as well as the formatting of the message.
The use of some simple HTML tags can easily modify how the
messages look to your customers.
Message Templates
This section covers the default message templates that
are available within the online bill payment system.
There are five default groups of templates available
within the Customer messages framework:
- All
-
This group contains templates that cover items
from site registration and initial password
through scheduled payment results.
- Utility
-
The utility templates cover messages that you
may wish to send to your customers about their
utility bills or payments.
- Service Application
-
The service Application templates are messages
they you may wish to send to a customer who has
applied for services from your company.
- Invoice
-
The invoice templates are similar to the
utility templates and cover similar items the
major differences are that these are not
associated with utility bills.
- Miscellaneous
-
Currently there is only one template in the
miscellaneous category a Quick Pay payment
confirmation.
Note: The system is not limited
to the groups included in the defaults additional
groups can be created or groups can be renamed by the
Global Administrator.
